iSignature App Reviews

Some problems

In my job, I have to have a signature that has sensitive information on it. Consequently, I cannot trust to have use apple mails signature. For the purpose advertised, it works reasonably well. However, when I first started using it, somehow it changed my email settings from the Exchange Server system I used to retrieve emails from gmail resulting in an inability to send or receive emails. Unfortunately, I was unable to fix this change and had to revert back to the normal way to fetch gmail. Once changed, it worked well.

It Works For Me!!

I am a corporate professional working in the corporate world who loves his iPhone immensely. iSignature has given me the ability to create professional email signatures that I am proud to send to anyone. AL Software, thanks for keeping this app great!

Please update!

I love this app and use it all the time. I would have given it 4 stars but now that iOS4 is out, the reply/forward feature no longer works so the app is pretty much useless to me. Please update soon! This was a GREAT app!

Its now on my front page

Update: Please update your app for iOS4. I now depend on this app. It simply doesnt work now. God Id even pay for an update if developers would just stay on top of their apps and have an update ready for us when iOS updates happen. Ill re-review you app if its updated soon... Unless I find something else of course. ------------ ISig really gets straight to point and opens super fast. I set the top three lines to my same html work signature so that I can tap the area wildy and quick. I only needed the one signature, but I didnt want it popping up in my gmail emails. ISig asks you to delete the normal iPhone signature. Until apple builds in multipe, html capable signatures, this is the next best thing. Its really pretty quick to click the home button and then the app and then your signature: it then imediately takes you to your email and you can type away. Its super simple and for that Im happy.

iOS4? Please?

This was one of the most useful apps on my iPhone. It allowed me to have professional signatures on work emails and fun signatures for personal email. All without typing. It was great… until I upgraded to iOS4. I like the enhancements of iOS4 but this app is now (sadly) useless. Please, please update this app.

Was great until IOS4

As with the other reviewers this was a great app that I used frequently but now it does not work with IOS4. Please update! Unfortunately, 2.1 update did not fix forward/reply issue.

Junk!!!

You have to compose mail through this app!!!! It doesnt change the signature if youre working in mail. No one that uses email frequently for business will find this acceptable!!! Dont waste a buck like I did.

Works fine with iOS 4

Perhaps some of the other reviewers missed the notes in the release notes but the 2.1 update works fine for me under iOS 4. As stated in the release notes, recent OS versions prevent the previous reply/forward functionality. As a solution, 2.1 allows the signature contents and image to be copied such that it can be pasted into reply and forward emails. Given the limitations imposed by the OS, this seems like the best solution and a workable one, for me at least. Thank you AL Software for updating this simple and useful app!

iOS 4 Problems Quickly Resolved

Initial problems with reply/forward workaround under iOS4 have been resolved thanks to exceptionally intelligent support and responsiveness by the developer. Make sure "in-app" is switched OFF and that you tap the desired signature TITLE, not the envelope icon, to copy the signature complete with formatting when replying or forwarding. Not a bad solution at all for now, and far better than the current alternatives including John Hancock and Email Signature Pro.

Send/Receive fixed in 2.1

Last update (2.1) restored functionality with iOS 3.1.3. Thanks!

Picture work around

Couldnt get picture to display inline rather than as an attachment when sending mail from my iPhone 4 to Outlook on my PC. I uploaded the image to a storage site and used the images URL in the signature and that worked fine. I also used HTML to put my content in a formatted table. I believe the issue with picture attachments is Apples, not iSignatures.

Works just like they say it does

I installed iSignature today and with a little tweaking have all 8 of my allowed signatures configured and tested. I like the simple process very much. My companys logo uses bold text but the three words are all different colors, so I simply used <font color> tags with hex values to define the colors of that text and I was good to go. I decided to also create a signature with a .gif version of my real written signature. I tried using the image field in iSignature but that didnt work because it always puts the image below any HTML or text. Using the <img src> tag allowed me to put my little .gif file on my website and call it from there. It would be better if I could indicate in the HTML where I wanted the embedded image to appear and use the local image, but it works the way it is configured, so Im OK with that. Might be worth considering for an upgrade one day. Nice job AL Software. Keep up the good work.

Best solution to html signatures for iPhone

If you already have an HTML signature set up, its easy to paste the code into am email to yourself and copy into the app. Worked the first time with my very complicated company sig.

Looks Good So Far!

Happy to find a Sig app that holds 8 signatures! Nice clean simple but efficient UI, just the way I like it!

Not worth it

Doesnt attach signature through mail. Only works when sending mail through isignature.

Spectacular

Probably my most used app! Love the ability to have different signatures for my different companies. Amazing and very friendly support as well. Thanks!!!
